This chart outlines the general CFM's of Air Compressors based on Horsepower. Note that this does not take into account loss of output due to length and size of hose running to end destination.
Vacuum CFM's Requied | Recommended Horsepower of Compressor |
48 CFM Models | 15 HP Minimum |
85 CFM Models | 25 HP Minimum |
Dual Venturi / 185 Models | 40 HP Minmium |
It depends on your air supply. Check our chart below for recommendations. A standard garage air compressor will not run these vacuums efficiently.
Both drum sizes perform similarly. The choice depends on the available space for the vacuum in your facility.
We recommend consulting with a professional safety consultant. Generally, this vacuum is safe for Class I, II, III Division 1 & 2 environments.
Yes, we offer two static conductive hose options: 1-1/2" x 15' and 1-1/2" x 25". For the 2" model, 2" x 15' and 2" x 25" hoses are available. Ensure to use static conductive hoses only.
The vacuum requires an air compressor capable of delivering a minimum of our rated CFM at 90 PSI. Performance may reduce if specifications are not met. Smaller CFM units function better with lower CFM availability.
